The guys had a night out and left us girls alone with the kiddo's, American, Idol, take out chinese and some fun on Emma's new swingset. It was too fun! We'll have to kick the guys out more often.

Can Tuesday come already??

This pic was taken at my work shower last week. Of course, I do NOT love the pic but it is the only one I have. Most of you know, but a few of my cyber friends haven't heard the news... So, here's the update: I am 38+5 weeks (3cm dilated, -1 station, and 70% effaced as of my last MD visit), I have had every single symptom that would indicate labor is impending but... NO delivery. I didn't think I'd be as anxious for her to come as the other 2 but at times I am certain I am FAR more anxious. I am not nesting, I think that phase has past. I am exhausted and have little motivation to do any of the household chores that need to be done (not whining just keeping it real :) MD says he'd induce on Tuesday if she's not here by then. Mom is coming in town on Sunday! I joke with her that baby Campbell is waiting on her Gran Gran. We'll see. I'll post pics of sweet girl as soon as I meet her! Oh yea, if she waits until Tuesday to come then I will have carried my 3r...

HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!!

Another Thompson is on the way! I am about 11 weeks, just got back from the MD and heard the sweet little heartbeat :) What a joy and blessing to be parents to another! Keep us in your prayers.

Bump in the Road

Saturday Keith and I were dying to get out of the hospital with Campbell and head home to sweet Em and LK! I was missing LK soo bad, having been apart from her for almost a week. We brought Campbell in the front door and the girls were beaming when they met their new baby sister. Whew, I thought we'd made it! Look at sweet LK, she couldn't stop grinning and talking about baby Campbell so fast I could barely understand her! Well, lo and behold the thing we had tried so hard to avoid all week happened- LK began running a fever and after a visit to the MD it was confirmed she now has the flu. So.. within a few hours, she and Em were headed to their Dede and Pops so that there would be no chance of exposure for Campbell. As you can imagine, the flood gates opened. I so desperately want to hold all 3 of my girls at the same time!! Before LK left, she vomited and I was quarintined in my bedroom with Campbell. She started screaming, "momma, momma."
