It's been a whirlwind around here lately!! I am looking forward to slowing down. I am certain that Miss Campbell's debut will ensure that :)
I had to go here for work: I was in Vegas for almost a week. Looks fun, but I assure you an almost week long Health care Compliance conference is not much fun. If you are. wondering, I put $1 in a slot machine three nights in a row and the machine kept my money every time. You could look around and quickly determine WHO is going to win in that place.
I am not much for casinos! I'd rather take my $100 to the Gap and walk out with items in hand.
I got back feeling really jet lagged and headed here:
It was awesome. Keith and I went with his office staff. I had forgotten how much I loved the beach (and my hubby!)!! We had a blast. Although you can imagine I was dying to get back to my girls.
I have been nesting a bit. I really want to get this chaotic house in order before Campbell comes. So.. for Mother's day all I asked for was time to complete my MANY incomplete sewing projects. Here's a peek at some of my weekend accomplishments (and note my sewing partner, she got the little machine for her birthday):
Hey, The outfit Emma is wearing with the flip flops and the pale pink set with the T on it both came from a yard sale. Believe that?? They were $5 each and they were Orient Expressed, I think. So fun to jazz up a yard sale purchase. That is one of my favorite things to do... to get up really early on a Sat am get my coffee in hand and peruse other people's junk.

And I know what you mean about traveling. I used to travel all the time for work and it was exhausting and I got SICK of it! People think it's really fun, but it will wear you down quickly! Glad you got home to enjoy some family time!
