Finally!
Sorry for the delay. My sweet valentine got me a brand new Brother 750D!
So.. I have been a bit preoccupied in my free time. I hope to post pics of my recent projects soon.
Keith and I had been mentally planning a romantic getaway before baby #3 arrives. However, logistics worked out so that we decided (very spontaneously) to take Emma to Disney next month in lieu of our original trip. LK will go to her Dede and Pop’s for some fabulous alone time. I struggled with leaving her but everyone I’ve talked to assured me that taking a 19 mo old is not wise
We had a BLAST at Disney! We'll definitely return in the future! Em will be 4 in March and this was the PERFECT age to go. We were there from Wed afternoon to Sunday.
We stayed at Saratoga Springs in a one bedroom condo. I highly recommend it! It was clean, beautiful and the customer service was great :)
Our first night we went to the Hoop Dee Doo review dinner musical. All you can eat ribs and fried chicken- Yummo & the show wasn't bad.
It was sooo cold the first two days! I promise if it weren't for the castle in the background you may have thought we were in Vail. I am so embarrassed that all the pics of me I have this Notre Dame toboggan on in! ALL pride was set aside- it was COLD!
Tea Cups were so fun! Prego had to sit aside for that ride (and unfortunately many other rides)
Is this not every little girls dream?? She was in Heaven with all the princesses and Disney characters around her. She would stand in 1 hr + lines just to get their autograph :)
Thursday we spent all day at Magic Kingdom and ended the night with Dinner at Cinderella's Castle followed by the Spectro Magic Parade and the Wishes fireworks show. Dinner at the Royal Table was YUMMY too! A little pricey (side note:we did the "Disney Dining Plan" so I don't know exactly how much the meals cost- I think we are fans of the plan b/c it made the trip sort of all inclusive and K did not have to break out the wallet once! If you are planning a trip and want to know more about the plan- ask me and we can talk more about the details) but I definitely recommend dining there when you go. Such a neat experience and the castle is beautiful! Emma was entertained by the show that the fairy godmother puts on while K & I thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
DAY 2
Day 2 we spent at Animal Kingdom in the morning and Epcot that evening. This pic was taken on the Jungle safari. One of our favorite rides! We also saw the Lion King musical here which was fantastic!
Isn't this cute? We bought Em an autograph book and we stood in line up to an hour for some characters autographs. She was ALL into getting autographs! So sweet. I would tell her E- this line is really long are you sure you want to wait & the answer was always Yes! No wait was too long to meet Mickey, Minnie or a REAL princess :)
